Mission Statement
Our mission is to strengthen South Jersey’s farm culture by connecting people and farms, supporting farmers, and elevating our region as a destination for agriculture, food, and agritourism.
Who We Are
South Jersey Preservation is a community-led non-profit organization made up of residents who are passionate about supporting local farms, growing small businesses, and celebrating the rural heritage that defines our region. We collaborate with municipal, county, and state partners, as well as community-based organizations, to advocate, educate, and promote initiatives that strengthen Salem, Gloucester, and Cumberland Counties.
Our Leading Initiatives

1
South Jersey Farmers Summit
Flagship Annual Event Built For Farmers By Farmers

The South Jersey Farmers Summit brings together farmers, ranchers, policymakers, agritourism leaders, and subject matter experts to address real challenges and build actionable solutions.

This isn’t just a conference - it’s a working summit designed to produce measurable outcomes, partnerships, and policy direction.

Outcome-driven. Farmer-led. Region-focused.
2
Local Table Network
Building South Jersey’s Farm-to-Table Infrastructure

A regional B2B sourcing network connecting farmers directly with restaurants, chefs, and food buyers.
-
No middlemen
-
No transaction fees
-
No mandatory commitments
-
Direct relationships only

This initiative strengthens local supply chains, keeps food dollars circulating in South Jersey, and positions our region as a premier farm-to-table destination.
This is not a marketplace. It’s infrastructure.
3
Red Tape Commission
Regulatory Reform for a Stronger Agricultural Economy

Working directly with legislative partners across South Jersey to:
-
Identify regulatory bottlenecks
-
Reduce unnecessary burdens
