About the event
Following the momentum of the South Jersey Farmers Summit, South Jersey Preservation is launching a hands-on workshop designed to help farmers strengthen their connection with customers and grow their businesses through social media.
Today, consumers want to know where their food comes from and who grows it. Social media provides farmers with a powerful (and free) tool to tell that story, build loyal customers, promote products, and showcase the everyday life of the farm.
This workshop will focus on simple, practical strategies that any farmer can use, regardless of experience with social media. Participants will learn how to use their phone to take better photos and videos, create engaging posts, highlight farm products, and build a recognizable online presence that supports their farm’s growth.
Topics will include:
Choosing the right social media platforms for your farm
Taking better photos and videos using just your phone
