Why It Matters

A strong local beef industry benefits far more than cattle producers. It supports family farms, creates jobs, strengthens local businesses, improves food security, preserves working farmland, and keeps more agricultural dollars circulating within our communities. By investing in South Jersey Beef, we're investing in the long-term economic vitality, cultural heritage, and resilience of South Jersey.

Who We Are

South Jersey Beef is a volunteer-led initiative founded by a dedicated group of local cattle producers, farmers, business leaders, agricultural professionals, supply chain experts, and community partners who share a common vision for the future of cattle farming in our region.

United by a passion for agriculture and a commitment to preserving South Jersey's farming heritage, we are working together to strengthen the local beef industry through collaboration, education, infrastructure, and market development. Our diverse backgrounds bring practical experience from every stage of the supply chain, allowing us to identify challenges, build meaningful partnerships, and develop solutions that support both today's producers and the next generation of cattlemen.
