Farmers Market Series
Summer 2026
With the support of our incredible community partners and sponsors, South Jersey Preservation is bringing more than 15 farmers markets to communities across Salem County, with additional locations under consideration.
These markets are designed to make it easier to shop local, support area farms and small businesses, and create welcoming community events that connect people with the farmers and producers right here in South Jersey.
South Jersey Cattleman's Kickoff
October 8, 2026
Join cattlemen, industry experts, and agricultural support partners from across the region for the official launch of the South Jersey Cattlemen’s Cooperative. Learn how the Cooperative will connect South Jersey ranchers with education, resources, networking, processing, fabrication, distribution, and new market opportunities while working together to strengthen the region’s beef industry.
The evening will introduce the Cooperative’s leadership and vision, provide an opportunity for open Q&A and networking, and kick off our educational series with sessions focused on pasture management, grazing, cattle nutrition, and producing high-quality beef.
Elk Township Harvest
Festival

The inaugural Elk Township Harvest Festival is a celebration of South Jersey's agricultural heritage, bringing together local farms, artisans, food vendors, and the community for an afternoon of family-friendly fall fun.
Enjoy a farmers market, artisan market, hay rides, a pumpkin patch, Trunk or Treat, live entertainment, delicious local food, and activities for all ages while supporting local agriculture and the Elk Township Recreation Committee.
The Farmers Market at Woodstown Central Railroad

South Jersey Preservation is proud to partner with Woodstown Central Railroad to present The Autumn Market at Woodstown Central Railroad - a celebration of the farms, local businesses, history, and traditions that make South Jersey special.

Set against the backdrop of the historic railroad, this family-friendly autumn event will bring together local farmers, artisans, food vendors, breweries, live music, shopping, children's activities, games, and train rides for an afternoon of fall fun.

Our goal is to create a unique autumn experience that celebrates local agriculture, small businesses, and the heritage of our region. Join us as we kick off what we hope will become a cherished annual tradition at Woodstown Central Railroad.
South Jersey Farmers Summit
February 5, 2027
The South Jersey Farmers Summit returns in February 2027, bringing together farmers, agricultural businesses, community leaders, and partners from across the region for a day focused on the future of farming in South Jersey.
From new market opportunities and local partnerships to farm legacy, tourism, and the growing South Jersey beef initiative, we’re building on the momentum of last year - with even more ahead.

Masterpieces for Preservation:
A Silent Art Auction Soirée
March 12 , 2027
Experience South Jersey through the eyes of local artists at Masterpieces for Preservation, an elegant Art Deco-inspired evening celebrating the landscapes, farms, communities, and character that make our region special. Local artists will donate original works capturing the beauty of South Jersey for a one-of-a-kind silent auction, hosted at Dog & Ram Distillery in Mannington.
Guests are invited to enjoy a sophisticated evening of art, community, and local culture, with proceeds from the silent auction benefiting South Jersey Preservation and our work throughout the region.
