Board a 75-minute excursion aboard the Woodstown Central Railroad, a historic line dating back to 1863. Enjoy an 18-mile round-trip journey through forests, farmland, and the wildlife of Salem County on a themed train ride.

Relax in beautifully restored 1930s passenger or table cars, and keep an eye out for the car in which The Beatles once rode. Be sure to check the schedule, as the railroad frequently offers special themed rides and events.

Easy Hike at Elephant Swamp Trail

Explore the quiet beauty of Elephant Swamp Trail, a peaceful wooded path tucked into one of the regions hidden natural areas. This easy, scenic trail winds through wetlands, tall trees, and native wildlife - offering a chance to slow down and take in South Jersey’s natural side.

Take your time along the stretch, watch for birds and local wildlife, and enjoy a quiet reset between stops. It’s a simple, refreshing way to experience the land that makes this region so special.

Trail info: 5.1 miles (you don't have to walk the entire trail) - Out and back layout. Trail surface is crushed stone, dirt, gravel and woodchips.

piggies, and barnyard favorite, Olivia, the sweet pup that roams the property. Come for the sprinkles, stay for the smiles and memories.
